💙🩶 SFJH's Homecoming Week is September 21st-25th. 💙🩶

Students may wear uniform bottoms with a shirt that matches the theme each day. All shirts must be school-appropriate.

** 😵‍💫 Mon., 9/21 - Mix Up Monday!: 📚Students dress as Teachers, and 🧑‍🏫Teachers dress as Students 🏫

** 🐊 Tues., 9/22 - Gator Season is Open!: Wear a Camouflage Shirt with Fishing or Hunting Boots 🥾 (No Ghillie Suits or Waders). Students will still need to bring tennis shoes for P.E.

** 🏈 Wed., 9/23 - It's Game Day Broncos! 🐴: Wear a SFJH Bronco Spirit Shirt to celebrate and cheer on our team! 💙🎉

**🕰 Thurs., 9/24 - Time Warp Thursday!: Each Grade Level will represent a different decade. 8th grade is the 80s 📺, 7th grade is the 70s 🪩, 6th grade is the 60s✌️.

** 🤠 Fri., 9/25 - Saddle Up, Broncos!🐎: Wear a Western Shirt with Cowboy Boots👢 and a Cowboy Hat (standard-size). Students will still need to bring tennis shoes for P.E.

📣 REMINDER!!! Our first Smoothie King Smoothie Day is this Friday, August 28th! 🎉 SFJH Smoothie Days take place on designated Fridays each month during the school year.

‼️ Today is the LAST DAY to purchase an August Pass or Full Year Pass for SFJH Smoothie Days! Passes must be purchased online by 10:00 PM tonight in order to receive a smoothie this Friday.

Two pass options are available:
🥤 2026–2027 Full Year Pass — $40
🥤 August Pass (a one-time use pass will be available to purchase each month) — $4

All passes must be purchased through SchoolCash Online. No cash payments will be accepted.

💙 $1.25 from every smoothie sold goes directly back to SFJH! 💙

Students in Ms. Mizell's Math Focus have been putting their area skills to work with some fun, hands-on activities!

First, students created animals using a variety of shapes and then calculated the total area of their creations. In another activity, students rolled dice, multiplied the numbers, and drew shapes with the corresponding area—all while competing to see who could cover the most space on their paper!

We love seeing our Broncos learning, creating, collaborating, and putting their math skills into practice! 💙🤍

🏈 We are excited to introduce the 2026–2027 South Fork Junior High Football Team as they prepare to take the field for our first season as the Broncos!🐴

Come out and support our team at Walker High's Wildcat Stadium as we kick things off at the Jamboree this Tuesday, August 25th at 6pm, followed by our first official game against the Juban Parc Jaguars on Tuesday, September 1st!

Calling all young scientists, engineers, innovators, and problem-solvers! Walker High School Wildcat 4H Club and Wildcat Robotics is hosting STEM Quest on Saturday, August 29th. This a fun event filled with hands-on STEM activities for 4th-8th grade students!

📅 August 29th, 2026
⏰ Check-in: 8:30 AM, Activities: 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
📍 Walker High School
🎓 Students in Grades 4th–8th

Students will rotate through exciting stations featuring robotics, coding, 3D printing, engineering, agriculture, health science, environmental conservation, esports, and more.

This is not a drop-off event. Parents/guardians are expected to remain onsite throughout STEM Day and are encouraged to participate alongside their child.

📢 REMINDER FOR STUDENTS & FAMILIES

Sprayground tags, like the one pictured below, are not permitted at South Fork Junior High. These tags may not be worn on clothing or attached to backpacks/book bags.

Please make sure all Sprayground tags are removed and left at home.

Any Sprayground tags brought onto campus will be confiscated and returned to the student at the end of the school day. Students who continue to bring or wear these tags after being reminded of this expectation will receive disciplinary consequences.

We appreciate our parents and families helping us reinforce this expectation with our students. Thank you for your continued support in helping us maintain a safe, focused, and respectful learning environment at South Fork Junior High! 💙🐴

Students in Ms. McChesney’s ELA class broke down their annotation guide and then put those skills into practice! Working collaboratively, students annotated their Unit One mentor text, identifying important details and strengthening their understanding of the text along the way.
