2nd graders are working HARD in reading!… and it’s only the 2nd week of school.

The last 2 weeks, students have been learning about author’s purpose as well as point of view. We’ve learned that not everyone thinks the same & not everyone sees the same. We’ve done a ton of read alouds & ended these last 2 weeks with a craft!!

We are so excited to celebrate Wyatt, who made the most important decision of his life by accepting Jesus Christ as his Savior during a chapel service at TCA! 🙌

We are incredibly proud of Wyatt as he now professes his faith through baptism at his church, Level Grove Baptist Church. What a beautiful testimony of God working in the heart of a child!

Pouring into the lives of children and partnering with families to build a firm foundation rooted in the Word of God is one of our top priorities at TCA. We are so thankful for the opportunity to walk alongside our families as we point students toward Christ. ❤️

Wyatt, we are SO proud of you! We can’t wait to see all that the Lord has planned for your life. Keep seeking Him and letting your light shine! 🌟

What a wonderful first week back at the Torch Christian Academy! 🎉📚

We had such a fun and exciting week together! Our students enjoyed a special Kona Ice treat—thank you so much to the Davis family! 🍧💙

Students in 1st–5th grade also enjoyed Chapel, growing together in God’s Word and being reminded of the biblical truths that guide us each day. 🙏✝️

We ended our first week with a wonderful time of fun and fellowship at Frances Meadows Aquatic Center! 🏊‍♀️☀️ What a great way to celebrate being back together!

We are so thankful to be back at school and are looking forward to a wonderful 2026–2027 school year filled with learning, growing, building friendships, and most importantly, learning both academic excellence and biblical principles. ❤️

We are excited for all that God has in store for TCA this year! Let’s make it a great one! 🔥

2nd grade had a BLAST & enjoyed Kona Ice on the first day of school with Mr. T & Mrs. K!!!!!! Lots of fun & silliness & Kona Ice was a nice cool treat right after PE. 🩵

✨ Our 2026–2027 staff at Torch Christian Academy is excited and ready for an incredible school year!

This week, our teachers and staff will be preparing classrooms, planning lessons, and praying over our students.
We are excited to see everyone at Open House on Thursday!
We look forward to welcoming our students back on Monday, August 10, and can’t wait to see all that God has in store this year.

TCA is founded on 3 John 1:4:

This verse reminds us of our mission each day—to partner with families in providing an excellent education while encouraging every student to grow in faith, wisdom, and truth.
