Friday, August 14th ECHS Career Readiness Week concluded with a fabulous grand finale! Thank you to the many business leaders who volunteered their time to allow our Juniors and Seniors the experience of a real interview. Thank you to Mrs. Cassie Arias - Ward for assisting in bringing community leaders together to help with this awesome opportunity!! Thank you to: Lescombes Winery, Nusenda, Triadic, Ace Appraisal, Foundation of Youth Arts, Irma’s Restaurant, Deming Public Schools, Americas Job Center Deming, City of Deming, and Luna County for your support of Deming students!!! Thank you Mr. Avalos and Deming Public Schools for allowing us to use Smith School. Thank you to the ECHS Career Readiness Week Team: Mrs. Chavez, Mrs. Avelar, Mr. Ruiz, Mrs. Franco, Mrs. Cardenas, Mrs. Zachek, and Dr. Bailey.

🎉 FREE ADMISSION FOR ALL SPECTATORS! 🎉

Deming Public Schools is excited to announce that admission to all 2026–2027 regular-season home athletic events at Deming High School and Red Mountain Middle School will be FREE for everyone! 🏈🏐🏀⚽⚾🥎🤼🎾⛳🏃

This includes football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, wrestling, tennis, golf, cross country, and other school-sponsored athletic events.

The Deming Board of Education wanted to make it easier for families to spend quality time together while supporting our student-athletes in a safe, welcoming, and drug- and substance-free environment. Athletics bring our community together—and now even more families can experience that Wildcat pride and connection!

This opportunity is made possible through a partnership with the County of Luna Government and an agreement with the Opioid Remediation Collaborative of New Mexico, approved unanimously by the Deming Board of Education.

Please note: NMAA postseason championship events are not included.

Bring your family, fill the stands, and cheer on our Wildcats all season long!
