Baker Co-op Preschool experience invites children and parents to discover and learn together in a child directed environment. Our goal is to provide children with fun and successful experiences in a school setting. We emphasize hands-on experiences allowing children to explore and discover their world through creative play fostering a joy of learning. We provide a safe physical classroom structured to challenge fine and gross motor skills, encourage the development of self-help skills, and facilitate experimentation. In this setting, parents can observe child behavior, discuss parenting challenges, and practice guidance techniques. Baker Co-op Preschool community strives to honor each child and family and support the social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and creative needs of each individual to sustain a lifelong joy of learning and sharing! Baker Co-op Preschool admits students of any race, color, national, or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at this school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national, or ethnic origin in administration of educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

TEACHER SPOTLIGHT📣

We are so fortunate to have Teacher Stacie teaching our children. She has years of classroom experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge, dedication and a genuine passion for helping students learn and grow. Throughout her career, she has made a lasting impact on countless children, and her commitment to education and the students of Mt. Baker Co-op has always been evident.

Her love for the Mt. Baker community has never wavered, and we are so excited for the upcoming year where she will continue to serve the students and families of our preschool. We can't wait to see all the wonderful things she will accomplish this year, the relationships she will build and the positive difference she will continue to make here at our school.
