Pride is proud to provide top rated VPK programs!

🌟100% of VCS VPK programs met or exceeded state expectations this year. All 43 of them.

Two out of three earned Florida’s top “Excellent” rating, nearly double the statewide rate of 39%. Zero VCS programs landed below expectations, while 5% did statewide. That’s 10 points ahead of the Florida average of 90%.

📈The numbers behind the progress:
▪️PM3 achievement up 10.3 points, from 72% to 82.2%.
▪️Learning gains up 14 points, from 58.9% to 72.9%.
▪️Average performance climbing from 59.4 to 65.7.

None of that happens by accident. It happens in classrooms, with teachers tracking where four-year olds are struggling with letter sounds and adjusting on the spot.

This is where literacy in Volusia County begins. Not in a headline, not in a report. In a classroom, months before a child ever sits down for kindergarten.
