DHS BAND AND ORCHESTRA CHRISTMAS CONCERT TONIGHT. Orchestra will begin @ 5:00 pm, and Band @ 5:30 pm. We will be doing a food drive at the door so please bring some food for the Local Food Bank.

So proud of these amazing students. 1st place in Music, Visual, Percussion and 3rd in color guard at the NEBO TOURNAMENT OF BANDS. Overall they took home the 1st place trophy. These kids have worked so hard to get ready this year, and I’m so lucky to be able to teach them. DHS WITH PRIDE.

What a great Summer Band this year. Between Delta 4th of July, Days of 47 in Salt Lake, and Hinckley, we definitely got our miles in. Lagoon was so much fun, and the kids were absolutely amazing. Looking forward to Marching Season coming up soon.

Congratulations to the Delta High Band and the Delta High Orchestra for receiving straight Superior Ratings at Region Large Group today. These kids are so amazing. It’s been an amazing opportunity to teach both the band and the orchestra this year. I am so proud of their accomplishments this year.

What an amazing marching band season. This group defied all odds with Covid and worked so hard. They finished this season Undefeated in all categories including music, visual, percussion and colorguard. In addition they brought home the 2020 3A State Championship. Congrats to everyone.

Hinckley parade info:
The school will be open at 815 am for those who need their instruments.
Percussion will meet at 830 to load the truck.
Meeting location: 9:00 AM - 100 E 400 N Hinckley utah.
Uniform - what we wore for the 4th of July. Red band shirts, dark shorts, black socks and shoes. No sandals.

Reminder that summer band practice will be tomorrow morning from 8 to 10 am at DHS. Please have a face mask on when arriving. The Hinckley parade will be Saturday morning at 9 am. See you there.

Hi all,
We will be starting summer band back up next week for the Hinckley Parade. We will practice on Thursday morning from 8 to 10 am. Then the parade is on Saturday morning July 25th at 9 am. We will go over more parade details Thursday at rehearsal. See you all there.

Also - you will need to have a face covering on when you come into the school.

Summer Band Reminder:

Everyone must follow strict SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES while waiting for the parade to start.

Meet at the Ballfields by the fairgrounds at 8:45 am. Please wear dark colored shorts, black shoes and Delta red shirts. High schoolers need to wear their RED BAND SHIRTS.

Percussion meet at 815 at the school to load percussion in the trucks.
