Bike Bus starts tomorrow - and runs every Tuesday and Thursday! A quick reminder: students will bring bikes to the front office so that we can safely store them until the end of the day.

Hi all,

Attached to this post, you will find a video we created a few years ago (shout out, Mr. Siennicki!), to inform families how to utilize our drop-off/pick-up areas. We're resharing it so you can re-familiarize yourselves with it.

Also, a few other quick items to share:

1. The corridor has been completely removed, but there is heavy machinery in that area to fence off the area until concrete can be poured. Our morning and afternoon pick-up/drop-off procedures will not be affected, and we will have additional staff outside during these times as well as recess to ensure students are not entering that area.

2. Our bike rack is currently missing-in-action. If your child will be riding his/her bike to school prior to the completion of this project, please have them go to the main office and we will find a safe place for their bike.

We’re excited to open our doors this evening from 5:00p to 6:30p for Back to School Night! Come early if you need any registration help.

There will be free slices of pizza available, information about PTO, a DHS Boys Soccer raffle and you get to see our amazing teachers and be part of our amazing school community!

Oh the Places You'll Go Day is always a fun day here at GMES, this one was even better with a helicopter landing, a hot air balloon, and so, so many businesses and people who were here to tell us all about their jobs! Great job 5th grade teachers for setting this up and thank you to everyone who came to make this day amazing. We can't wait for next year!
