October is National Bullying Prevention Month! Every student deserves to feel safe, valued, respected, and included at school.

We all have a role in building a culture where kindness matters, differences are respected, and students know they have people they can turn to when something isn’t right.

Let's make a difference together:

πŸ’™ Be kind β€” Your words and actions matter.
🀝 Be inclusive β€” Look for someone who could use a friend.
πŸ—£οΈ Speak up β€” If you see bullying, tell a trusted adult.
πŸ‘€ Look out for one another β€” Small acts of support can have a big impact.

Students, families, and staff: What is ONE thing you can do this month to help someone feel like they belong? Share your idea in the comments!

Complete the FEDS Form & Be Entered to Win! πŸŽ‰

Free breakfast and lunch are available to all Delta County School District students, but we still need families to complete the Family Economic Data Survey (FEDS).

Why does it matter?
The information collected through the FEDS form helps determine important funding for our schools. That funding supports student programs, services, meal reimbursement and other resources throughout the district.

And this year, completing the form comes with a chance to win!

🎁 Student Giveaways
Grades K–5: Electric Scooter
Grades 6–8: Electric Bike
High School: Apple Earbuds
If your family has already submitted an application/form for this school year, you do not need to complete another one.

Deadline: October 1
Winners announced: October 9

Complete the FEDS form here:

Inspired by similar donations made by other local CattleWomen organizations in their school systems, today the Delta CattleWomen donated a book barn including several agriculture themed books to the Lincoln Elementary School Library. DCW President, Julie Muhr, presented the donation to Ms. Le, LES librarian. The barn was designed, constructed and donated for the project by our president, Julie Muhr and her husband, Andy. The age appropriate books were donated by member, Jolene Nelson and the Delta CattleWomen in support of literacy and agriculture education. Following the initial donation of 25+ books, Delta CattleWomen plan to continue donating books to be placed in the book barn as an ongoing project.
