“Lincoln Lions Can!”

This year, our students proved that not only can they… but Lincoln Lions DID!
We are so proud of the hard work our students, staff, and families have put in this year, and we wanted to share some exciting results from our schoolwide assessments and school culture efforts! These assessments help us monitor student growth, celebrate successes, and identify areas where students may need extra support.

NWEA Math Results
Our students scored in the 71st percentile for growth in Math on the NWEA assessment!

What does that mean?
It means our students performed better than 71% of students across the nation in math growth and achievement. NWEA is an assessment given three times a year that measures student growth over time and helps teachers tailor instruction to student needs.

DIBELS Reading Results
As a K-5 school, we achieved Well Above Average Growth in reading on DIBELS! DIBELS is a reading assessment given at the beginning, middle, and end of the year that helps us monitor foundational reading skills such as fluency, accuracy, and comprehension.
“Well Above Average Growth” means:
✅ Students grew faster than the national average
✅ Instruction and interventions are working effectively
✅ Students are making strong progress toward reading proficiency
✅ Many students are catching up or exceeding expected growth

English Language Development Success
We are also incredibly proud of the growth within our English Language Development (ELD) program! This year, 7 students passed the English language proficiency assessment, demonstrating the language skills needed to successfully exit English language services. In addition, 91% of our multilingual learners showed growth on the annual ACCESS assessment!

In addition to our academic success, Lincoln Elementary was also recognized as a Capturing Kids’ Hearts National Showcase School! This honor reflects the strong relationships, positive culture, and supportive environment our staff works hard to create for every student, every day.

This kind of growth and success happens because of the dedication of our teachers, interventionists, paraprofessionals, families, and, most importantly, our students who continue to work hard every single day.

While we are incredibly proud of these accomplishments, we are not done yet. We are excited to continue growing, improving, and supporting our students even more next year. The future is bright at Lincoln Elementary, and we cannot wait to see what our Lions accomplish next!
