The 20th Annual Entry Level Civil Construction Heavy Equipment Academy is accepting applications! 💥

If you’ve ever wanted to get behind the controls of heavy equipment, learn hands-on industry skills, and explore a career in construction, this is YOUR chance.

📍 Delta Career Advancement Center – Delta Junction, Alaska
📅 June 2 – June 19, 2026
⏰ 7 AM – 4 PM (M - F)
💲 $100 non-refundable application fee
⚠️ Space is LIMITED!

This academy offers real-world experience, industry exposure, and the opportunity to gain valuable skills that can launch a career in Alaska’s workforce.

✔️ Must be at least 17 years old.
✔️ High school senior, graduate, or GED recipient by June 2, 2026.
✔️ Valid Alaska driver’s license required.
✔️ Must be able to pass a drug test.

Delta Division of Forestry & Fire Protection is offering a FREE Basic Firefighting Red Card Class May 26th–30th at Delta Career Advancement Center in Delta Junction!

A rural Alaska high school welding program in Delta Junction teaches students fabrication skills, aluminum welding, and workforce-ready shop practices through real-world projects, including building a boat.
