Oxford Academy Preschool, in cooperation with the Early Learning Coalition presents:

Active Parenting in the First Five Years: Managing Challenging Behaviors.

This parent class will focus on understanding and managing challenging behaviors during the first five years of a child’s life. Parents will learn why behaviors such as tantrums, aggression, defiance, and difficulty with transitions are developmentally common at this age, and how brain development, communication skills, and emotions play a role. The class will provide practical, age-appropriate strategies to support positive behavior, including setting consistent routines, using positive reinforcement, and responding calmly to big emotions. The goal is to help parents feel confident, supported, and better equipped to guide their child through these early developmental years.
