We are progressing on getting the boat house ready. Dan Kiggins and Rodrigo Banegas, both founders, have worked to fabricate our first boat racks. Now the boats can rest in the racks while waiting to be used. Congratulations

Last week we shared the cleanup, but this week is about safety. We just installed massive supports to save a roof that was near collapse.

The building is now stable and ready for the next phase. We are building this to last.

We are turning this abandoned space into a boathouse, one step at a time. Today was all about a deep clean, using high-pressure water to get the interior ready for the next stage of the project.

Day 1: The work has officially started at Delray Beach Rowing Club. 🚧🚣‍♂️

We’re finally on-site, tearing down the old to make room for the new. These photos are the first steps in turning this space into a home for rowing in our community. It’s a lot of dust and debris right now, but this is where it all starts.

Our goal is simple: to share the values of this sport: excellence, teamwork, and sportsmanship with everyone. We are building a place for youth and adults of all backgrounds and abilities to get out on the water and push their limits. 🤝🏆

We’ve got the vision and the sweat, but we need the community’s help to get it over the line. We are raising funds to finish the build-out and get the equipment we need to launch.
