The dust has settled… We had an amazing time World Championships. After an amazing season we were able to compete with the best of the best. We are extremely proud of our accomplishments and excited for our future.We fought hard and made it to the Daly finals. Unfortunately we came up short of making it to Einstein. This has been a defining moment for our team. A lot of firsts for us. We were the #1 seed in our division which allowed us to form an amazing alliance with and and Team3641 The Flying Toasters. We lost to the eventual Finalist of Einstein - Alliance 5. A huge thanks to AmericanHeritage School Palm Beach for giving us this opportunity and a very special thanks to our schools founder Mr William “Bill” Laurie . Thank you to all of our supporters, parents and sponsors.

Team 5472: The Wyld Stallyns
After many rounds of tough competition we finished #1 in the Daly Division at the end of qualification rounds out of 78 teams @ the FIRST World Championships in Houston. We fought hard and made it to the finals. Unfortunately we came up short of making it to Einstein. This has been a defining moment for our team with a lot of firsts for us. We were the #1 seed in our division which allowed us to form an amazing alliance with FRC Team 4613 - Barker Redbacks and Team 4946 - The Alpha Dogs and @3641 The Flying Toasters. We lost to the eventual Finalist of Einstein - Alliance 5. A huge thanks to American Heritage Schools, Palm Beach Campus for giving us this opportunity and a very special thanks to our school’s founder Mr William “Bill” Laurie . Team 5472, the Wyld Stallyns, competed in South Florida Regional on March 3rd and 4th. They were the #3 overall after their qualification matches and became the second seed alliance captain, choosing FRC 180 Team 180 S.P.A.M. and Team 7652 Miami Beach Bots as their alliance partners. The alliance, with Team 5472 as its captain, made it all the way to the finals, fighting for a bid to the World Championships. Unfortunately, they lost a hard fought battle in the final rounds. On top of their gameplay success, Team 5472 won the Industrial Design Award sponsored by General Motors for their robot’s form, functionality, and aesthetics. Overall, the competition was extremely successful, and Team 5472 will be competing in the Orlando Regional from March 15th to March 18th.

What an amazing day, so honored to have had the opportunity to talk with someone I consider a hero. Our team was able to meet with him and even demonstrate our robot. Truly a memory to last a lifetime
