✏️ CREATIVE CREATURE WRITING SWAP! 🐉🎨

Our 6th graders put their descriptive writing and art skills to the test in a unique classroom activity!

Each student drew an original creature straight from their imagination and typed up a detailed written description. Then came the swap! Students traded typed descriptions and attempted to sketch the creature based solely on their classmate’s words.

Soon, the original drawings will be revealed so everyone can see how close their sketches came to matching the creator's vision. It is amazing to see descriptive writing come to life through art and teamwork! 💙🧡

Lawn chairs unfolded, food trucks sizzling, and kids chasing giant bubbles across the field - our Family Picnic was one for the books! 🍔🫧

It was a fantastic evening spent celebrating our wonderful school community. Seeing our students, parents, and teachers relaxing and connecting together on campus made for an unforgettable night!

🦖🦄 WE HIT $150,000… AND THINGS GOT INFLATABLE! 🦛✨

Our Month of Giving milestone unlocked the Inflatable Takeover, with our amazing faculty greeting students in dinosaur, unicorn, and character costumes before parading around campus! What a fun way to celebrate our community’s incredible generosity!

Now, we are gearing up for the next big milestone: when we hit $225,000, we will unlock human Hungry Hungry Hippos right here on campus! Our faculty is ready to suit up and slide into action for the ultimate showdown, but we need your help to get there.

Every gift moves us closer to unlocking the hippos and hitting our goal of $300,000 and 100% family participation by October 31st! 💙🧡

🕊️ PEACE IS SERVED: JOIN US FOR PEACE DAY! 🥫✨

Please join us this Wednesday, October 14th, for our schoolwide Peace Day!

Our theme this year is Peace Is Served, as students from Toddler through 8th Grade come together for a special day of service benefiting homebound meal program.

Parents are warmly invited to join us for our all-school assembly to kick off the morning! Afterward, students will work alongside their Learning Partner groups on hands-on service projects throughout the day.

Our Preschoolers are learning all about community helpers this week, and they had a very special visitor!

Dr. Annie Ashouri came to campus to share what it's like to work as a radiologist. She gave our young learners an exciting look at how x-rays work and showed how doctors help keep our bodies healthy and safe. Thank you, Dr. Ashouri, for taking the time to visit and inspire our little Mustangs! 💙🧡

Our 8th grade visited our 1st graders this week to talk about this month's food drive supporting CROS Ministries!

Our older students explained the importance of giving back, shared how non-perishable donations help local families in need, and encouraged our youngest Mustangs to get involved. They are inspiring and modeling compassion and community service right here on campus!

🛒 BEHIND THE SCENES AT PUBLIX! 🟢🛍️

Our 2nd graders went to Publix this week for a special behind-the-scenes tour!

They explored the back rooms, learned how a grocery store operates, and saw how teamwork keeps everything running smoothly. Our students had an absolute blast getting a real-life look at how our community works together. Thank you to our local Publix team for hosting us and giving our Mustangs such a fun, educational experience! 💙🧡
