Our coaches kicked off Orientation with a delicious hands-on lesson from Chef LuQuana, learning the art of pizza making together.

From trying new skills to sharing laughs around the kitchen, it was the perfect reminder that some of the best learning happens when we create together. We can't wait to see what this school year has in store!

Our team came together for CPR certification training, gaining valuable skills that can make a real difference when it matters most. We are committed to being prepared for anything.

We are thrilled to welcome new Executive Chef and Culinary Arts Director Chef Luquana McGriff to Space of Mind and the Community Classroom Project.

Originally from Brooklyn and a Culinary Arts Management student at Miami Dade College’s Miami Culinary Institute, Chef Luquana brings creativity, passion, and hands-on culinary experience to our community. She believes the kitchen is a place to build confidence, develop life skills, spark creativity, and bring people together.

Chef Luquana is excited to develop innovative culinary programming and create memorable experiences where learning, food, and community come together.

As we wrap up another incredible season of Summer Discovery Camp, we’re celebrating the creativity, curiosity, friendships, and unforgettable moments that made this season so special.
