Empowering Kids to Write. The Incite to Write program was created by educator Carol Aubrey to inspire and motivate kids to find their "writing" voice.
Incite to Write is an out-of-the-box, highly motivating writing curriculum for kids in grades 1-9 that emphasizes critical thinking skills. Program creator and developer Carol Aubrey is an author and educator who specializes in writing and higher order thinking skills. A Kennedy Center artist-educator, Carol's program grew out of her many years working as a consultant and trainer for the FL Dept.
What is Creativity? How do we teach it to our kids? The act of creating is not as difficult as one might think. Being creative is innate to us; it’s tied in with our imagination. Remember those early humans who imagined the worst in order to survive? We’ve been strengthening that imagination muscle for a long time. Our well-developed ability to imagine is one of the things that sets us apart from all other species. It’s part of who you are, and you can rely on it.
