Explore the Arts & Express Yourself! Banyan Creek students, it’s time to get creative with this year’s National PTA Reflections theme, “Accepting Imperfection.” Open to all students from Pre-K to Grade 12, the Reflections program offers a wonderful opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings, boost your confidence, and develop a love for learning. Submit your original artwork in categories like dance, film, visual arts, and literature, and show us how you interpret this year’s theme! Pick up your submission guidelines and entry forms from Ms. Putnik or Mr. Heinrichs, (or download the form on our website, link in bio) and start creating. Entries are due by December 4th! 🎨✨

Our PTA did it again, and it was a banner Boo Bash to say the least!!

It’s been one week since our hugely successful, wickedly fun, annual Boo Bash, and we’re just now catching our breath! What a turn out!! We had close to 800 PEOPLE attend, over 80 volunteers, incredible vendors and sponsors, an unbelievably creative trunk-or-treat, and the most amazing kiddos around. THANK YOU to everyone that made this event such a hit for our school community! A special thanks to our incredible PTA, with a big should out to @lkrause715 and @anishajane1234567 - this would not be remotely possible without your sheer dedication and the unwavering support from our whole PTA Crew. Boo Bash 2024, you made our October! This Thursday is the Banyan Creek Annual Storybook Character Parade! Bring your favorite storybook character to life! Dress up as your favorite character and bring along a book that features that character.*

*School-appropriate costumes only. No masks or weapons. Those who do not wish to dress up are invited to wear fall colors, orange, and black.

As part of National Bullying Awareness Month, we’re reminding you to wear orange tomorrow (Wednesday, October 16th) in honor of Unity Day! Send a visible message of building commUNITY through kindness, acceptance, and inclusion to prevent bullying in October and all year long.

Join us this Wednesday, October 16th, for the Banyan Creek SAC meeting and Literacy Night! You’ll have the opportunity to learn about upcoming school events, collaborate and share ideas, and learn more about the review and approval process for school improvement plans. We’ll see you at 6pm this Wednesday in the cafeteria! 🐾
