John the Evangelist Catholic School encourages everyone to learn and live a faithful Christ-centered life through our Catholic tradition, while providing an environment striving for excellence. John the Evangelist has been blessed to be able to be the support and foundation for the education of thousands of parishioners throughout the years since it was first established. The school system itself

has changed and molded the lives of its alumni and current students, but the traditions and history of the institution has been sound over the generations of its existence. The original school was housed in the upper chamber of the pastor’s cabin, and later, a building was constructed to house the boys’ and girls’ education in a separate location. Today, our school is thankful to be able to educate students from Preschool-12th Grade. With this family of faith, our school can emulate and promote an educational institution overflowing with faith, tradition, and excellence.

💛💙 Congratulations to our 2026 Homecoming Queen, Madelyn Haehn, and the entire DSJ Homecoming Court!

We are thrilled to celebrate this year’s Homecoming Court, whose members were nominated by their peers for their leadership, character, and commitment to our school and community. We are proud to recognize these students who represent the spirit of our Blue Jay tradition.

The Blue Jays will face Minster on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 7:00 PM for the Homecoming Game.

This will also be our Alumni Welcome Home Weekend.

Fan Parking: Visiting and LCC fans should use the Green Lot, located on the away side of the stadium near the roundabout and the new aquatic center. The Blue Lot on the home side is reserved for LCC Booster members and media. Access will be restricted to those with the proper passes/credentials.
Special Events: LCC Fall Sport Senior Night will take place at mid field at 5:30pm for about 15 minutes.
