Thank You, parent volunteers!

Many thanks to our parent volunteers who harvested, cleaned and cut veggies and dished out more than 900 salads for students and staff during the annual Salad for Kids Day at Bethlehem Central Middle School. The special day - where free, fresh, and delicious salads are served to students to encourage healthy eating habits - is made possible by sustainability coordinator and garden guru Mr. Warford, the Garden Club, and the Food Services team.

The salads were a huge hit, as students lined up for the nutritious treats grown right in their school's backyard. Overheard from one student enjoying the experience: "I just ate an entire radish. I never knew they were spicy. That really hits."
