DelMarVa Model Railroad Club Welcome! You're invited to our free model trains displays during Open House. Family friendly! Bill Shehan to promote the hobby of Model Railroading.

Delmarva Model Railroad Club is a member only organization, founded by Mr. This club is open to new membership. The members of the club meet every Wednesday night at 7:30 pm for work sessions. The first Wednesday of the month is a business meeting. The club opens to the public 4 times a year during the Annual Open House., to share the hobby and promote Model Railroading. The rest of the year, it is only open to club members. The model railroading hobby is very diverse, bringing many different skill levels to a club. Everyone who is a member loves trains. Some love the building of
scenery and models, others love the operations aspect of running the trains. The club is located on the 2nd floor of Camelot Hall, with no elevator. The property is owned by St Stephens United Methodist Church. The club is in the building at the grace and mercy of the board of elders, St Stephens UMC. Many discussions have taken place about retrofitting the building for an elevator or chair lift to the second floor, and it is beyond the resources of both the church and the club. We are are sorry if you are unable to climb the 22 steps to see the club layouts and invite you to check out other model railroads who may be more accessible - https://www.railserve.com/events/train_shows.html

Drips happen so we are monitoring the weather. We may add “puddle jumping” or a "dancing in the rain” segment you wouldn’t want to miss. Remember, you can't have rainbows without a little rain. 🌈☔ , unless you see an ark, then that would be awkward. Stay tuned for updates .

The Harrington Heritage Day scheduled for this Saturday, August 22nd, has been canceled.

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/14kayNw8a8T/

It is with a great deal of sadness that the City of Harrington announces the cancelation of the 48th Annual Harrington Heritage Day, scheduled for Aug 22, 2026. With the forecast of severe thunderstorms and locally heavy rains, the city must consider everyone's safety as our top priority.

However the library still plans on having some inside fun for the kids so check them out!!!!

With so many other events in our area over the next several weeks, a rain date is not possible.

For our vendors, we have options as far as the money paid for your space. Please contact us at [email protected]

We thank you for choosing to spend the day with us and hope to see you at more of our events!
