Student organization for SUNY Delhi students interested in expanding their LVT. The purpose of the SUNY Delhi Pre-Veterinary Club is multi-functional.
It serves to inform members of career options within the fields of veterinary medicine, provide guidance concerning admissions, cater networking platforms as a functioning chapter of the American Pre-Veterinary Medical Association, and create a sense of unity amongst students with similar goal sets. General meeting times are every other Thursday at 3 pm.

As part of our professor outreach initiative, in conjunction with the pathology subcommittee we were honored to hear about her journey as well as become educated on how to potentially follow it!

We are back for the Fall 2022 Semester! If you are interested we are honored to welcome all faces to the club! It looks great on applications and will help prepare you for Vet School if that is an interest of yours. This is a QR code anyone can scan and start donating for the Pre-Veterinary Clubs’ run/walkathon this Friday at 5pm! Please share and start sending donations if you would like to. These proceeds are going to Homes for Animal Heroes! When you donate and the section comes up to ”add note” please type “Pre-Vet Club Run-Free event” for the donations to come through for the animals. The SUNY Delhi Pre-Veterinary club is hosting a
3k/walk-a-thon! Anyone can make donations if they would like, all proceeds are going to the animals at the Heart of the Catskill Humane Society. Anyone (not just vet sci) is also encouraged to join, so please spread the word! This event will be held on Friday, April 29th at 5pm. The location of the event is TBA for now but more information will follow soon! Please share this as you please and come support the shelter!
Hello Everyone!! We are back up and running! Our club is about helping each other find their path to Veterinary Schools and specialities they can possibly go into if you are interested. We discuss ways to help you with applications, classes, community service, work opportunities, and so much more. If you are interested in continuing your studies and furthering your career, this is the epitome of a club you should be a part of! We are currently meeting the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month, in Sanford Hall, room 120, from 5-6pm. If that changes due to any circumstance you will be notified.
