Preschool isn’t always sunshine and rainbows… ☁️
There are hard mornings. Lots of messes. Big feelings. Tears at drop-off. Learning how to share, make friends, follow directions and try something new. But then… there are the giggles. The friendships. The messy art. The proud little moments. The “I did it!” smiles. And the kind of joy that makes you realize just how much your child is growing. 🌈☀️

Learning how to follow directions, ask for help, take turns, clean up, care for their belongings and do little things independently are all important parts of getting ready for kindergarten.

And the good news? These skills are learned through practice!

That’s one of the beautiful things about preschool. Through play, routines, classroom activities and everyday opportunities to try things on their own, children are building the confidence and independence they’ll carry with them into kindergarten and beyond.

At DCA, we’re proud to partner with families as we help children grow academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually. Full-time and half-day preschool enrollment is currently open!

Preschool is about so much more than letters and numbers. It’s where children begin building confidence, learning to navigate friendships, solving problems and discovering that they are capable of trying new things.
