We are pleased to share an exciting leadership update for the OWL Program. Eve Helenberger will assume the role of OWL Director, effective July 1. Eve brings a remarkable breadth of institutional knowledge and a deep commitment to OWL, having served in a variety of roles — including Interim Director — since 2011. Congratulations, Eve! We look forward to the continued growth and development of the OWL Program under your leadership.

Yesterday the OWL Camp glass artist and I went to the Columbus Glass Art Center. They gifted the program will all of this beautiful glass that will be used in the mosaic glass classes this summer. Thank you! Donations like these help us to keep our costs down and allow us to put more money in our scholarship fund!

🌟 We’re Hiring Family Group Leaders for OWL Camp 2026! 🌟

OWL Camp at Ohio Wesleyan University is seeking three additional Family Group Leaders to support our male family groups this summer.

Family Group Leaders help create belonging, model positive leadership, and support middle school campers throughout the week. This is more than a summer job — it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

We’re looking for individuals who are responsible, positive, and enjoy working with middle school students in a team-centered environment.

This is a paid position which includes room and board. Required staff training will take place June 4–7. Camp sessions run June 7–11, June 14–18, and June 21–25, with each Friday and Saturday off. Camp is held on the campus of Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio.

OAGC (Ohio Association for Gifted Children) Scholarship Deadlines

The OAGC Student Summer Scholarship is awarded to K-12 Ohio students for special activities that extend their special talent/interest areas.

Deadline is February 15th!

The Ann Sheldon College Scholarship is awarded to any student who is about to enroll in his/her first year of college and/or a student currently enrolled in an undergraduate program of an Ohio College.
