Our last board member to be introduced is Tais Tadioto Pereira, who serves as a Member at Large.

Tais is the proud mom of Vincenzo Rank, a sophomore who has played JV2 basketball and both JV and varsity football.

She is also the proud stepmom of Austin Schaller, a UW–La Crosse graduate who majored in business/marketing and is now working in recruiting at Teksystems in Milwaukee.

Tais is originally from Brazil and moved to Florida 23 years ago after graduating with a degree in fashion design and a major in arts. She is engaged to Mike Schaller, whom she moved to Delavan with five years ago. They have two dogs, Brewster (who, according to Vince, is her favorite child!) and Jenny.

She absolutely enjoys being part of this amazing, diverse community, and volunteering is something she takes very seriously.

Vince is very active at the high school, participating in math clubs plays, violin in the orchestra, a member of the student council, and now Hope Squad.

One of Tais’ favorite things is attending Wisconsin sports games with her family and she is a huge Packers fan!

Tais speaks multiple languages. She loves to chat, so please don’t hesitate to approach her. She enjoys talking with other parents and making sure that new families coming into the high school feel welcome and part of our Comets family.

And a fun fact from Vince:

“I don’t know, Mom. Nothing you say is PG!” 😂

JV Results:

The JV Lady Comets also took to the links this week with their first RVC mini-meet at Cambridge on August 18. Their round was unfortunately cut short by the weather, but congratulations to Freshmen Sarah Schuenke and Della Schutt for participating in their first competitive golf meet as a Comet!

On August 19 the JV team traveled to Cottage Grove to play in the Lakeside Lutheran Invitational at the Door Creek Golf Course Executive Course.

Individual Scores -
