This was one of my favorite projects to teach my students because it combined my love of pottery and my love of printmaking. This is a low relief design carved into a leather hard clay. The link shows another example of this. Enjoy.

Trying my hand at carving with a dremel and hand tools. I had to paint the flower and butterfly so I could clearly see my lines. I think magnifying head goggles with lights might be a future purchase. 🤓🧐🔍

I'm still doing random things around the studio for it's remodel but I took a break to create something special for a dear lady close to my heart. I pray it turns out and that she loves it. 🥰🙏

In my studio again today. On a mission to finish vacuuming and switching the tables around. It's hard to do it by myself but that's the only way it gets done. My wonderful husband is such a hardworking man and he's going back to school for another certification... this time for a biblical counseling program. His heart is for God and his coworkers. Paramedics and Firefighters see the worst part of life and he's shining God's light to help them cope with those rough calls. I'm so blessed. Praise God!

*Didn't plan on matching the wall color. 🤣
