Student Ambassadors are responsible for coordinating and staffing all Admissions Events held at Stetson University. The emphasis of a Student Ambassador is meeting and greeting all prospective students and their family/guardians during their visit to campus. Ambassadors also help facilitate the answers to all their questions about Stetson University from the student prospective. Ambassadors will a
lso assist the office in student outreach. This experience is vital in the recruitment process. As a Student Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to meet prospective students and their families and welcome them to campus on their visit. An Ambassador does this by actively participating in showing new students and their families the Stetson campus, engaging in meaningful conversations with prospective students at meals, and selflessly serving to ignite a passion and interest for Stetson University in each prospective student they encounter. Ambassadors work large, admissions events, serve as escorts for shadow day visits, serve as overnight hosts, assist with student and provide daily tours of the university. Student ambassadors additionally with help with student outreach initiatives in our office through phone, social media, and written communication. A Student Ambassador is the initial face of Stetson University. An Ambassador is a student representative who assists in a variety of programs that help recruit new students to the university through a variety of interactions and programing opportunities. Ambassadors answer questions, help university guests navigate campus, and help further sell the university by giving the real student perspective.
