On April 18, in Lee Chapel, we presented our final concert of the semester, “Celebrations.”

During the performance, we had the opportunity to honor and celebrate those graduating this semester. Four years can pass faster than we ever expect, it feels like just yesterday they were graduating from their respective high schools.

We are proud to congratulate them and wish them all the best in their future endeavors. Go Hatters!

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Pioneer Middle School Band Program, and today we were excited to host the Awtrey Middle School Music Program for rehearsals and campus tours. It’s been an incredible couple of days having both groups on campus!

Awtrey MS also brought members of their orchestra and choir, who had the opportunity to work with Dr. Peter and Professor Hose, such a rewarding experience for everyone involved.

A big thank you to Pioneer Middle School Director of Bands, Richard Uhler, and Awtrey’s directors, Tara Melvin and Stephen Cagle, along with all the band parents and students from both schools. We’re grateful you allowed us to be part of your musical journey and to connect over music, college life, and all things Stetson.

Go Hatters 🎩💚🤍

🎶 Join Us for a Night of Celebration! 🎶

On Saturday, April 18 at 7:30 PM, the Symphonic Band will take the stage in Lee Chapel for our second concert of the semester: Celebrations: A Night of Festive Music.

This special evening honors our time together in the School of Music and celebrates the university we love. We’ll also recognize our graduating seniors as they perform their final concert with the Symphonic Band.

We are especially excited to welcome Dr. Timothy Peter, Director of Choral Activities, as our guest conductor. A trombone player with previous band experience, Dr. Peter will join us on the podium as we celebrate his remarkable 40-year career, including 14 years here at Stetson.

Come share this meaningful and festive evening with us. We would love to see you there!
