Action over words.

There’s nothing like seeing Stetson and the DeLand community come together for a shared cause. Whether it was marching through downtown, rolling up our sleeves for service, or sharing a meal and reflecting at the luncheon, last week was a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we move as one.

Huge thank you to everyone who showed up to turn Dr. King’s legacy into action. Let’s keep this momentum going! 💚🧤

You’ll learn how your academic studies impact community and prepare you for a variety of career paths. The basic requirements of the certificate include four courses that explore the theory and practice of community engagement alongside 100 hours of community service. More details at link in bio!

Stetson Votes is offering free rides to the polls on Election Day (Tuesday, November 5)! Any Stetson student who is registered to vote using their campus address (421 N Woodland Blvd, DeLand FL) can get a ride to vote between 8am-6pm in front of the Rinker Welcome Center.

What to bring: Your photo ID with signature - we recommend bringing both a state-issued ID (like a driver’s license) and your Stetson student ID card, just to be safe. Anyone can also bring any notes, sample ballots, palm cards, handouts, and pictures on their phones with them when voting - this is a democracy, not a closed-book chemistry exam. Expect to return to campus within an hour. 

- Any students who want to get themselves to their voting precinct can find their precinct by visiting www.volusiaelections.gov. 
- Want to check where you’re registered to vote? Visit www.vote411.org/check-registration. 
- Want to view the candidates/amendments on your ballot so you can prepare? Visit www.vote411.org/ballot.
