Congratulations to Ada and Blake who were recognized at the Volusia County Schools School Board Meeting for being a state of Florida PTA Reflections winner! There were 10 state winners and we are proud that 2 were from Citrus Grove! Ada and Blake have definitely been doing their Eagle Best and Nothing Less! 🦅

CGE PTA was in overdrive today at Meet the Teacher, as they signed up MANY new members, sold so many spirit shirts we sold out of all youth sizes, and then provided school shirts and a fabulous lunch to all faculty and staff! Most exciting was the number of students that joined PTA, ensuring their presence and input this year at our meetings and upcoming events! We can’t wait to hear the student voice this year, along with all you lovely adults! Our first meeting is September 2nd at 6:00 pm in our Media Center! We will be announcing the membership winner that will receive KSC tickets! In the meantime, go to the link in our bio if you haven’t joined- we can’t wait to have you on board.

Round 1 of Meet the Teacher (VPK and Kindergarten) is complete and we hope everyone is home safely and tucked into bed for another busy day, tomorrow! We so enjoyed meeting so many new students and their families, dodging the downpour to do so! Special thanks to all the volunteers tonight that checked families in, provided car tags/bracelets/information, and supported families in joint our Citrus Grove Elementary PTA and/or buying spirit shirts! Together, we are so much happier and definitely stronger! Round 2 tomorrow should be just as magical! Can’t wait!
