Growing Partnerships. Supporting Students. Strengthening Our Community.

Volusia County Schools is excited to continue growing our partnerships with Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida and Addition Financial Credit Union as we explore new ways to support our students and school communities.

Through Second Harvest Food Bank’s School Partnerships Program, schools can receive food and essential resources that help address food insecurity and ensure students have access to the support they need to thrive.

We’re also grateful for Addition Financial Credit Union’s continued investment in VCS through initiatives such as Renovate to Educate, helping transform spaces across our schools to better meet the needs of students and the communities we serve.

Together, we’re looking forward to building on these partnerships and finding new ways to connect resources, strengthen schools, and make an even greater impact for VCS students and families!

Congratulations to our inaugural Leadership VCS class!

Tonight, we celebrated the first graduates of Leadership VCS, an eight-month, behind-the-scenes experience that gave business and community leaders an inside look at how Volusia County Schools serves nearly 60,000 students every day.

These graduates leave as informed advocates for public education, stronger community partners and champions for our students and educators. 💙
