The cast of Henry IV can’t wait to share their performance with you tomorrow!

Our annual Shakespeare Festival is tomorrow, Wednesday May 27th. Events start at 4pm and continue throughout the night. Come enjoy maypole dances, dramatic monologs, sonnets, and performances of a variety of the Bard’s plays!

It all takes place on the school lawns, feel free to bring a blanket or chair with you! You’re welcome to bring a picnic dinner or enjoy the offerings from one of the food trucks. We can’t wait to see you there!

It’s our last day highlighting the High School’s mission trip to Costa Rica and we would be remiss if we did not thank the amazing staff and chaperones who accompanied our students! Truly, this trip would not have been possible without them!

If you bump into one of our high school students, be sure to ask them about their time. Our hope is that trips like this will help broaden our student’s understanding of the world, strengthen their desire to serve, and leave them with memories that will last a lifetime.

We’re continuing our look at the High School’s mission trip to Costa Rica!

Another service project the high schoolers participated in was building bunk beds for families in need. These bunks were a life-changing, welcoming gift for these families. In addition to meeting a practical need of sleeping off the ground, they also serve as a life saving means for families when floods come, giving children who cannot swim elevation safety from the water.

This week we will be highlighting some moments from the High School’s mission trip to Costa Rica!

They worked with a couple different organizations during their time in Costa Rica. One of the organizations is called NOW CR. They focus on discipling and helping children living in poverty in their local community. Here, one of our high school students is teaching an art project about Jesus calming the storm.

We are beyond thrilled to celebrate our first student graduate this year! Her years at TAA are nearly at an end and we couldn’t be more excited for her and her future 🎓

We will hold a Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, May 21 at 2:45 p.m. All students will be in attendance, and parents are more than welcome to join as well!

The Upper School grades had a true country folk ball, complete with line dancing steps and live music too! Events like these aren’t viewed as a reward for making it to the end of the year, but rather a celebration of the time these students have spent together.

It was indeed “good to be me here with you” at our all campus meeting earlier this week! We love gathering together as a community, and it’s a bonus when food and a few mildly competitive games are involved too
