The 2025-2026 SFDR-CISD Certified Nurse Assistant Program demonstrated an outstanding performance on the TX Nurse Aide Clinical Skills and Written Examinations. Students proudly and with great delight enjoyed the results of their hard work, dedication, and determination after obtaining a 100% pass rate on both examinations. Students trained under the direction of instructor and program director, Mrs. Laura Guerrero, BSN, RN. The CNA program is part of the Health Science Cluster in the growing Career and Technical Education (CTE) Program. Afternoon dissection session 🐖

It’s dissection week in Ms. Capitan’s Biology class! 🐖

Students will have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on learning experience by dissecting a pig 🔬 This activity allows them to explore anatomy in a real-world context, deepening their understanding of how body systems function and connect.

Experiences like this not only build knowledge but also encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and respect for science. 🧬
