Sacred Heart Catholic School At SHS, we believe we are called to nurture and educate our students spiritually and academically. It is the best Catholic faith formation school in Del Rio.

Sacred Heart Catholic School enhances your child's academic, spiritual, social, and physical life. SHS helps students to gain the skills and confidence to succeed as leaders in the 21st century using the proven leadership skills found in Dr. Stephen Covey’s book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, where each child is deemed a leader. SHS students are taught to be proactive, to have a plan, to work first then play, to believe that everyone can win, to listen before they talk, to synergize, and to live a balanced life.

🧡 UNITED IN KINDNESS, UNITED AGAINST BULLYING! 🧡

We celebrated Solidarity Day! Students enjoyed a No Uniform Day and were encouraged to wear orange as a symbol of unity against bullying! 🧡

We remind our students that kindness matters and every person is a child of God. ❤️

🧡 United in Christ. United against bullying ❤️🙏🏫

A big THANK YOU to the City of Del Rio! ❤️ City of Del Rio Government

We are so grateful for our freshly painted crosswalks around Sacred Heart School! These bright new lines may seem like a small thing, but they make such a big difference in helping keep our students and families safe.

Thank you, City of Del Rio, for taking care of our little corner of the community. We appreciate you! ❤️🤍

Our crosswalks are looking GOOD this morning! 👏

🐾🙏 Blessing of the Pets 🙏🐾

What a beautiful afternoon at Sacred Heart! Our students and families brought their beloved pets to campus for a special Blessing of the Pets, and we were so grateful to have Fr. James join us to offer the blessing ❤️

As we celebrate the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, we are reminded that all of God’s creation is a gift, even our furry, feathered, and four-legged family members are part of the many blessings He has given us 🐶🐱🐾

Thank you, Fr. James, for sharing this special moment with our Sacred Heart family!

“Praise the Lord, all you creatures.” 🕊️

When Netflix calls to do a documentary on surviving being a School Security Officer… 🎥😂

Between morning drop-off, dismissal, open gates, special events, and keeping up with all of us at Sacred Heart… he definitely has some stories to tell! 😂❤️

All jokes aside, as we close out National Security Officer Appreciation Week, we want to say THANK YOU for helping keep our students, staff, and Sacred Heart family safe each and every day. 🙏

We appreciate your watchful eye, your patience, and the care you show our school community. We are blessed to have you! ❤️ Priva Print Field Svcs

A stocked fridge may seem like a small thing, but it’s one more way we can say “We appreciate you!” to the amazing staff who pour so much into our students every single day ❤️🧋

A huge THANK YOU to Five Points Market for the generous donation to help stock our staff fridge, and to our wonderful PTC for putting it all together!

Our teachers and staff give so much of themselves each day, and we hope these little treats remind them just how loved and appreciated they are. ❤️🙏
