🧡💙🧡 We sure do love Mr. Maples!

Introducing our Deputy SRO’s that are working to protect your kids and staff this school year. Each SRO, has received 80 to 120 hours of training this summer while school has been out. This training consists of active shooter, school threat prevention, school threat assessment and much more. We look forward to this year and providing safety to all.

Deputy Clark Maples is assigned to Delrio Elementary School. Deputy Maples builds rapport and respect from the students, community, and staff each day. His job is to provide safety to our students and staff. We appreciate the service he provides to our schools.

ATTN Families:

Del Rio Elementary School will offer two opportunities for families who need assistance completing student registration for the 2026–2027 school year.

Registration assistance will be available on:

Tuesday, July 21 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Thursday, July 23 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

To help make the registration process as quick and efficient as possible, please review the previous email below (sent by Michael Short) and bring all required documents (including your CELL PHONE—if you have one) and information with you to the registration event.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are excited to announce that Online Re-Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year will officially open on Thursday, July 9th. Online Re-Enrollment is required for all returning families and is designed to make the back-to-school process much easier. It completely replaces most of the traditional, annual paper packets. This process gives you a quick and efficient way to review and update your child(ren)’s vital information, including:
Home address and contact information
Vaccinations and medical records
Legal and custody documents
Emergency contacts
What You Need to Do Right Now: Check Your Aspen Access
To complete online re-enrollment, parents/guardians must have an active Aspen Family Portal account.
An email address is required to set up and maintain an account.
At least one parent or guardian per household must have an active account.
Not sure if you have an account or need to request one?
If you do not have an Aspen account, or are unsure of your login status, please follow these steps as soon as possible:
Visit our website at www.cockecountyschools.org.
Click on the "ASPEN Portal Access" button.
Look under the section titled "Already have a student enrolled with us?" to find the link to our account request form.
Fill out and submit the form. Once our team reviews your submission, your account creation/activation information will be emailed to you.
