About a year ago we were extremely busy trying to make Eagle Pass happen. Since I was also raised in Las Minas, Eagle Pass was the most logical second FD location.

After months of meetings and setbacks, we finally secured a space in early 2026. And after getting the keys we found out the building was not ready for move in.

During that time , we had the opportunity to open up Uvalde - A city that wasn’t even on our radar. But after some meetings with different organizations, we realized how much the community needed our services. Without hesitation we shifted all of our resources and focus from Eagle Pass to Uvalde. Honestly that was the best decision we could’ve made.

In this short year, we have 2 thriving locations. We also moved into our new building in Del Rio which we have been planning and working on for a year, and every time I get on the phone with a doctors office or hospital they ask me when the Eagle Pass location is opening lol

What’s meant for you is meant for you. Just honor the timeline 🙏🏽

We still serve a lot of patients from Eagle Pass. But our Field Diagnostics - Eagle Pass location will happen when the time is right 🤞🏽

Field Diagnostics is looking for a part-time Mobile Phlebotomist, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time in the near future.

🩸 Collecting specimens at various residences and facilities throughout the Uvalde • San Antonio • New Braunfels area.

Requirements:
• Current Phlebotomy Certification
• Geriatric phlebotomy experience required
• Reliable transportation
• Available Monday–Friday 8am-2pm

🚨OUR NEW LOCATION IS FINALLY COMPLETE🚨

There’s something special about finally seeing our sign go up on Bedell Ave, surrounded by so many established medical businesses. We’re incredibly proud of this moment.

We’ve been serving our communities since 2020, but relocated to Del Rio in 2024 with a specific vision: to nurture and grow our presence here. Since then, that vision has expanded, and we’re still only in the infancy stages of what we’re building.

In 2026, we opened our second location in Uvalde while continuing to build our new Del Rio location.

Now, the building is finally ready for its Grand Opening! 🎉

Another full-circle moment. ❤️

In 2001–2002, I was a Del Rio High School ROTC cadet, and today, I had the honor of training my former ROTC instructor and the Del Rio High School ROTC staff in CPR as they prepare for the first day of school Monday.

Over 20 years later, the student became the instructor. Even more special, they told me I’ll be added to the Cadet Wall.

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to give back to the school and community that helped shape me.

22 years ago, I walked into the Val Verde Nurse Aide Training Program as a student, eager to learn and not realizing that it would become my introduction to a lifelong career in healthcare.

Mrs. Partida gave so many of us our first opportunity to serve others, and like countless healthcare professionals in our community, my journey started in her classroom.

Today was a true full-circle moment.

It was an honor to welcome Mrs. Partida to our new Field Diagnostics office and donate gowns and masks to support her current CNA students. Being able to give back to the same program that helped shape my future is something I’ll never forget.

Since those days in 2004-2005, I’ve been blessed to continue serving Southwest Texas in different ways—through Phlebotomy and CPR training, laboratory services, and drug testing. Every day, we have the privilege of supporting the healthcare professionals who care for our communities, and I’m proud to say that many of the students we’ve trained can now be found working in healthcare facilities throughout Southwest Texas.

None of this would have been possible without the people who believed in us from the very beginning.

Thank you, Mrs. Partida, for everything you’ve done for our community and for inspiring generations of healthcare professionals. Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom, and I am grateful to have followed in your footsteps.

Sometimes life comes full circle in the most meaningful ways.
