Challenging yourself and doing something difficult is not comfortable.

Be courageous and do something out of your comfort zone and work through those feelings of being uncomfortable.

If you can do that successfully, it will make your more willing to do it again in the future.

Sometimes the hardest part isn’t the hard thing itself. It’s letting go of the version where it was supposed to be easier.

You thought you’d be further along by now.
You thought healing would feel more linear.
You thought this season would look different.
You thought once you made the “right” choice, things would fall into place.

There’s nothing wrong with wanting things to feel easier. But sometimes, the frustration comes from fighting the reality that growth, change, relationships, parenting, work—or simply being human—can be messy.

Hard doesn’t always mean you’re doing it wrong.
Sometimes, it just means it’s hard. And accepting that can make it feel a little lighter.
