Blu's face when Nicole sets him on a perch.....😠

Boarder Blu LOVES spending time with staff member Nicole! She's his absolute favorite person on our team. Whenever she's around, he gets sooooo excited!
So, he gets most offended when she needs to share her time and attention with anybirdy else.

We have been SO excited to see resident goffin's cockatoo "Gigi" coming out of her shell lately! Gigi has been a Free Flight resident for over ten years; and while she's always loved talking to other parrots and people, she's always been wary of fingers...until now! Sweet Gigi has been bonding with staff member Joey, venturing into larger enclosures to explore, and now is even willing to perch on a pumpkin! We're so proud of her newfound confidence!

Welcome, Winston!
This adorable little green cheek recently joined our permanent resident flock! As an older guy (he's 14 years old!), he's a little more introverted than some of his fellow conures - so he'll be acclimating to his new home behind the scenes for a little while. We look forward to introducing him to everyone properly when he's feeling a little more confident in his surroundings!
