The DeKalb ROE provides a number of vital services for DeKalb county school districts from bus safety and licensure to professional development.

The DeKalb ROE provides annual health/life safety inspections of county schools, required bus safety training, fingerprinting and background checks for educators and substitute teachers. In addition, we make sure teachers are ready for the classroom by monitoring and issuing educator licenses. With every district represented, more than 40 DeKalb County educators completed Volume One LETRS literacy training through the ROE this year β€” and we couldn't be more proud!
