Firefighter/Paramedic Gasca served the DeKalb Fire Department for over four years with dedication and professionalism.

DeKalb Firefighters Local 1236 regrets to inform our community of the tragic passing of one of our members on Monday, April 6, 2026. Our focus remains on supporting the firefighter’s family, friends, and our members during this difficult time. We sincerely appreciate all of the support we have received, and remind everyone to respect the privacy of the family while they navigate through this difficult time.
