Peer Wellness Coach:
Peer Wellness Coaches aim to empower NIU students in building healthy habits, improving overall well-being, and connecting with campus resources through one-on-one coaching sessions. Coaches will utilize active listening skills, health and wellness education, collaborative goal setting, and strengths-based support to help students navigate barriers related to personal well-being. While the primary responsibility will be to facilitate coaching sessions, Peer Wellness Coaches will also assist in the development and implementation of various outreach initiatives, such as weekly programs, large events, facilitating presentations and workshops, and creating social media content.

Peer Wellness Educator:
A Peer Health Educator functions as a team member of the Wellness Crew. The mission of the Wellness Crew is to be student advocators, motivators, and educators for wellness. Peer Health Educators will utilize active listening skills and wellness knowledge to empower and educate students on various health and wellness topics. This will be demonstrated through assisting in the development and implementation of various outreach initiatives, such as weekly programs, large events, facilitating presentations and workshops, and creating social media content.

Your First College Resume
