Anime Club at Northern Illinois University
Our main activity is publicly showing different types of Japanese Animation (called anime), including movies, TV series, and direct-to-video series.

The World Music Program is conducting a Japanese Ensemble concert at the NIU Music Building! They will be playing traditional Japanese music and music from iconic Ghibli films. We will also be tabling there.
There will be snacks too!
The concert will start at 6pm, April 23rd!

We are watching "My Love Story!!" at 6pm still and voted the new show "I May Be a Guild Receptionist, But I'll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time" to be our new 12 episode show at 8pm. We will continue watching both of them on every Tuesday until the second to last week of the semester.
Our meeting room is at Stevens Building 170 which is the anthropology/theatre building.

We have started club again for the Spring 2025 semester. We will vote on semester shows tomorrow Thursday at 6:00 pm. We will update on the schedule once we finish this initial week of club.

Happy Halloween!
Today were having our annual Halloween Party from 6-9pm at our usual meeting place, Stevens 170. There will be food, games, prizes, and a costume contest.

Our club has voted on a show once again, we will begin watching Kaiju No. 8 at 6pm. We will continue watching Apothecary Diaries at 8pm until the end of the semester.

Welcome back to the Fall Season! Our club has voted and we will be watching Apothecary Diaries at 8pm and some other show at 6pm that we have to do a tie breaking vote for... We will be watching episodes 1 and 2 for both of them on Tuesday Sept 10. We'll update the schedule once again when all shows are decided.

It will be fun! There will be Artists/Vendors, video games, board games, A free Pachinko Parlor, Panels, and a Cosplay Contest.
