Join us TONIGHT for our first Honors House Faculty Dinner of the semester! Our featured faculty guest is Dr. Lynn Herrmann from the School of Preventive and Applied Health in the College of Health and Human Sciences.

We will enjoy Qdoba for dinner (while supplies last) and hear about Dr. Herrmann’s educational journey and advice she has for you. See you there!

The Honors Program is once again partnering with Cast Iron Coffee this year! That means that every Tuesday during the academic year, Honors students can get 20% off their drink when they order and show their gold Honors Preferred sticker. ☕️

If you need a sticker, stop by the Honors Office (PCLB 110) or one of the Honors events this month.

Hey, incoming Huskies! Are you accepted into the Honors Program? Or did you receive an email inviting you to apply?

If so, participate in the Honors Orientation Game this summer! 🎉 On the day of your Orientation, you can engage with the Honors Program by completing different tasks. Be sure to read through the instructions here to prepare so you can participate when you attend Orientation. If you complete the game, you will win an Honors sticker!

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us or visit the Honors table at the Resource Fair during Orientation!

Introducing our last Honors Senior Spotlight 🌟 We are highlighting our senior Honors students to celebrate their graduation!

Katrina Rath, a Business Management major, is our next Honors Senior Spotlight! Katrina shared how being part of the Honors Program has impacted her time here at NIU: “I loved how I did not have stress about waiting for registering for classes due to having priority registration. The Honors Program also helped establish a sense of community and allowed me to participate in classes with other Honors students.”

Katrina will be working as Development Analyst at a firm in Geneva!
