Students who join our team get to expericence all sorts of manufacturing processes. In addition to the design work we do, we teach welding, manual machining and the use of computer controlled mills and lathes.

Thanks for this excellent donation we received from IDEAL Electrical! These tools were put to use building a new engine dyno harness and in repairing some older team equipment.
They are a local Sycamore and Dekalb based company with strong ties to NIU. Many members of the various SAE teams, robotics, and other students in the engineering program are employed as interns as well.
