Great opportunity for psychology students: The Student Wellness Team is hiring a Peer Wellness Coach and a Peer Wellness Educator for 6-10 hours per week, pay is $15 per hour. Both positions close Sunday, October 4. To apply, use the position ID number (below) to search on the “Huskies Get Hired” site.
Peer Wellness Coaches aim to empower NIU students in building healthy habits, improving overall well-being, and connecting with campus resources through one-on-one coaching sessions. Position ID: 304040. Peer Health Educators are members of the Wellness Crew and act as student advocators, motivators, and educators for wellness. Position ID: 304039. Both peer Health Educators and Coaches will utilize active listening skills, health and wellness education, and empowerment as well as assist in the development and implementation of various outreach initiatives.

Our NIU chapter of the Psi Chi international honors society is hosting fun events this semester – please see the calendar! While membership requires application, all students including non-members are welcome to attend Psi Chi meetings unless otherwise noted. This is a great way to get to know the group!
