Before we close out October, I would like to take time to send a BIG “Thank you!” to all the hard-working volunteers and supporters that made this year’s Walton County Fair so special. Especially, Mrs. Dawn Martin, for guiding me through my first fair experience as the new FBLA sponsor. I can’t imagine what a task it is to organize such a large event and so many people! It was a true blessing to witness the large crowds each night--the little faces of boys and girls so excited to receive their armbands and take in all the sights and sounds! And last but most certainly not least, I am so proud of the dedicated group of Walton High students that committed to volunteering every night and the support of their amazing parents—Thank you all!
