To Our Warrior Families,
We hope you and your loved ones are safe as our community continues to recover from the storm. Our hearts are with those who have experienced damage, are still without power, or are simply trying to get things back to normal.
We are excited and ready to welcome our Warriors back to school on Wednesday, October 14th! However, we also recognize that not every family is in a position to return just yet, and we want you to know that we understand.
If your child is unable to return on Wednesday due to circumstances related to the storm, simply send a parent note explaining the absence, and it will be excused. Please don’t feel added pressure to return before your family is ready. Your family’s safety and well-being come first. Always.
We will complete the second half of our Nine Weeks Exams (1st, 2nd, 4th, and 6th periods) on Thursday, October 15th. Our teachers understand that this is not a normal week and that grace, patience, and flexibility are especially important right now. We will work with our students and families as we navigate the days ahead.
We’ve also included a graphic with important dates and schedule updates to help answer any questions about the changes to our school calendar. We hope this makes navigating the next few days a little easier for everyone!
More than anything, we want our Warriors safe, supported, and cared for. School will be here when you’re ready, and so will we.
We love our Warrior families, we miss our kiddos, and we can’t wait to have our tribe back together!
