Community Partners Making a Difference!

A HUGE Mustang THANK YOU to Granny’s Alliance for their incredibly generous donation of school supplies to our students at Mossy Head School!

Granny’s Alliance has been on our campus this week with their mobile city, supporting disaster relief efforts in our area following the hurricane. As an emergency relief company, Granny’s Alliance provides essential equipment, hurricane response services, and critical resources to communities during times of need.

While their mission is to help communities recover from disasters, they took the time to make a special difference for our Mustangs through a large donation of school supplies! Their generosity is a wonderful reminder that even during challenging times, kindness, compassion, and community partnerships make an incredible impact!

Thank you, Granny’s Alliance, for supporting our Mustangs and showing what it truly means to have a heart for others!

Good afternoon, Mustang Family!
We are excited and ready to welcome our Mustangs back to campus tomorrow, October 14th!

We know the past several days have been challenging for our families as we have navigated the impacts of the hurricane. Please know that you have been prayed for and we hope that everyone is doing well.

As we return to school, our priority continues to be to provide our students with love and support in every way possible. We know that familiar faces and getting back into a regular routine can make a tremendous difference after uncertain times. Our campus faired really well and with the help of our amazing team, it will look the same as it does each day.

If your family has been impacted or if there is anything we can do to help, please don't hesitate to reach out ([email protected] or [email protected]). We are more than just a school — we are a Mustang Family, and we always take care of one another! ❤️

We cannot wait to see our students' smiling faces back in our hallways on Wednesday!

Hi, Mustang Family! When you arrive on campus Wednesday, you will notice additions in the front field of the school. This is a disaster relief mobile city. This is provided for State and Local Emergency Management that are working to help others in our county as well as neighboring counties with disaster relief after the Hurricane. They have their own power sources, cafeteria, facilities, and living quarters. This is coordinated with the EOC and we are happy to have the space to assist. This will not interfere with our normal school functions/operations.

We look forward to seeing our students and staff back on campus on Wednesday, October 14th.

We have power, water, food and look forward to seeing our students!

ALL Students and Staff - classes and activities will resume on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

Teachers and Staff will report on Wednesday unless otherwise contacted by their school administrator.

We understand there are still many without power. Questions regarding absences should be directed to your specific school staff and administration.

Please see information below regarding school closure...

All Walton County School District campuses will be closed Thursday, October 8, and Friday, October 9, due to anticipated impacts from Isaias. This closure applies to all extracurricular activities such as athletic games, practices, and club meetings.

The safety of our students, staff, and families remains our highest priority. These closures will allow families time to prepare and follow guidance from Walton County Emergency Management.

Future updates and announcements will be available on District social media channels as well as our website.
