OUR HISTORY
DCA was founded in 1981 in response to waning Christian values in public schools. We acknowledge the presence of Christian leaders and teachers in public schools, and we thank God for their influence. However, we feel that our children should learn with a Biblical world view as their main focus. OUR PHILOSOPHY
DCA is here for the purpose of equipping individuals to live in harmony with

the will of God and apply unchanging Biblical principles to their lives. We are partnering with parents to prepare children for this life and and the next! OUR SCHOOL
DCA is accredited for students from K-12th grade. We offer individualized curriculum that is both Biblically and academically sound. We welcome families of all denominations. OUR TEACHERS
Teachers at Deford Christian Academy are extremely qualified, but they do more than teaching their students reading, writing, and arithmetic. They set a daily example of Christian living. They love their students and pray for them each day. They teach as a ministry, not a job. OUR STUDENTS
DCA is a place where every student "fits in". Our high teacher-to-student ratio ensures that each child receives the mentorship and encouragement he needs to fulfill God's plan for his life. Our students are growing in their faith, and our graduates are contributing members of society. Our students score well above average on standardized tests. We feel that God has honored His promise that if we "seek His kingdom first, all these things will be added unto you." OUR CURRICULUM
Deford Christian Academy uses Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum. ACE is respected internationally as a program that allows students to learn independently at their own speed. In addition to a curriculum that is unapologetically Christian, Deford Christian Academy makes uses of chapel services, daily devotions, and Bible study with memorization to give students a solid spiritual grounding. We believe that spiritual principles apply to everyday life and offer programs in sports, music and computers, as well as competitions and field trips for all ages.
