The ARK Learning & Arts Academy As a ministry of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, the preschool has been in operation since 1990.

The ARK Learning & Arts Academy is a non-profit preschool designed to provide the opportunity for three and four year-old children to develop socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually in a Christian environment. Based on professional standards of preschool education for academics, we provide creative child-centered group participation as well as an emphasis on the Arts. It is licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and is inspected once a year. All staff members are required to take classes in First Aid/CPR, Child Abuse and Neglect, Common Childhood Illnesses, and are fingerprinted with the state including a BCI and FBI check.

March ☘️🐜🐇

This month was packed with St. Patrick’s Day, Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, and our Post Office field trip.

A special thank you to our ARK families and donors for pouring into Breakfast with the Bunny. Your time and kindness helps day in and day out. We sold 113 tickets this year.

We did it all in three short weeks before spring break!
Another great month in the books.

February ❄️💕💌

Nursery rhymes and valentines. Showing kindness to our peers and of course making slime! One of my personal favorite themes was space. We learned about our solar system and astronauts.

Ms. Rebekah, Ms. Susie, & Ms. Barb do a great job every month. Thank you for helping make this program so special.

January ☃️❄️

Boy was it cold this year! Between all the snow we still found ways to have fun inside, pretend snowball fights, duck duck goose, and Simon says really kept the energy flowing. And a lot of the floor is lava…. 🥶

Thank you January, you were long but the days are quick.

December! 🎅🏻🤍

We were having fun over here, celebrating the birth of our savior and lots of Christmas crafts. A delayed Christmas party couldn’t stop us.

Merry Christmas from the ARK & Happy New Year!

November! 🧡🍗

All things dinsosaur, turkey, and community! We love our traditions and the Thanksgiving Feast is one of many. Thank you to our board members, and volunteers who make our events happen.

The month was short but continued the same with our visitors of Ms. Rebekah, Ms. Barb, and Ms. Susie. We appreciate all the people that make this program shine!
