Pave the Way. Light the Future. | Events 05/18/2026

Alumni!

You are invited to dedicate an engraved paver and make your CJHS/RZJHS story part of our shared history. Honor a student. Celebrate a milestone. Remember a loved one. Share your family name with pride. Your message will live on for generations of families to see.
Every paver supports the RZ@25 Campaign, strengthening investment in our educators and expanding affordability for families.

Shoutout to alum Janie Levitan (RZJHS ’22), who was recently featured on the news in Israel for her social media account WannabeIsraelis! Alongside her friend Tali, they’re sharing their love of Israeli food through cooking, catering, and bringing people together one dish at a time. We love seeing our alumni and their passions shine!

What started years ago as a way to reconnect and celebrate our community continues to bring generations together year after year.

Join us TONIGHT as we keep the Pack the Place tradition going strong—because once a Tiger, always a Tiger.

The Egg Drop is a CJHS/RZJHS classic where creativity meets gravity, and students design their best contraptions to keep their egg from cracking. Cheers, suspense, and plenty of dramatic drops as the class finds out who built the ultimate safe structure for their egg.

A tradition going strong since the beginning of CJHS and still a favorite every year.

Did your egg survive? Tell us in the comments!

Tiger Takeover is here with Jenna Miller (RZJHS ’18)!

Follow along tomorrow as Jenna takes us through her day at RZJHS, including a very special all-school Chanukah lunch with everyone celebrating in their festive pajamas!

As our Student Activities Coordinator and Girls Basketball Assistant Coach, Jenna plays a huge role in making RZJHS a fun, connected, and spirited community.

The Senior Israel Experience is the ultimate culmination of our RZJHS seniors’ learning, connection, and community. Three unforgettable weeks of exploring, hiking, beach days, and bonding turn classmates into family. CJHS/RZJHS seniors made and will continue to make Israel memories that last a lifetime.

Throwback to class at CJHS in 2003, the early years in Morton Grove.

We made it work, learned a lot, and built something real. A lot has changed since then, but the heart of our school hasn’t.
