Quiet Waters Elementary

Oh what a day!! Roger put a ton of smiles on the faces of our staff members. He grilled for hours and it was so worth it. Everyone enjoyed the delicious food and each other. We are Leveling Up!

Today, we welcomed our ESP’s back from summer break. They are truly the wind beneath our wings and we’re thrilled to have them back.

Our Third Grade Teachers are ready to Level Up by welcoming new members to the QWE Family! It’s going to be a winning year with Mr. Balchaitis, Ms. Carracino, and Ms. Reina. Together, they’ll achieve more.

Today, we welcomed our incredible teachers back and it’s Game On!! Our Kindergarten Team is definitely ready to Level Up!!

Free Food. Free Backpacks. Free School Supplies too! Yup! Sounds like a great idea, right? Well, get the kids up in the morning and head over to Johnny Tigner Community Center. They will be there from 10-1. Let’s goooo!

Thank you to our amazing School Counselor, Sue Donahue, for her partnership with Roig Law Firm. They blessed our students with supply-filled backpacks. Thank you so much! Our students are going to love them.

Wow! The Meet the Principal event was a huge success. It was a packed house! Thank you QWE Community for showing your strength, dedication, and most importantly, your love for the school and our students. Mr. Balchaitis shared his vision and strategy for leveling up our school. With your support, we will do just that.

Parents, we are officially kicking off our end of the year testing. First up are our Kindergarteners! They will take the STAR PM 3 in the morning. Please arrive on time. You got this!

At QWE, we honor Autism Awareness Month. We wear our blue shirts every Wednesday to show unity, inclusion, and support. Ms. Keenan, our Autism Coach, and a couple of her friends participated in the City of Deerfield’s Autism Awareness event.
